I have just restarted Chrome after around 2 weeks and suddenly the extension is no longer working as before. Now it just saves a little number of the tabs you close in a random way. I have tried to turn off and on the extension but has not solved the problem.
I have been using this extension for months and it's the first time I see something like this.
I have tried to install in a brand new profile and apparently that way it works as normal except for the fact that is not updating the count over the icon.

Maybe you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the extension?

DeleteThe count updates as it should on my PC, I cannot reproduce the problem.
